Wine Bar Hachijuro offers a menu that balances comfort, flavor, and creativity, making it a great choice for both wine lovers and food enthusiasts. During my visit, the variety stood out immediately. The fresh seafood dishes, including the Fresh Fish Carpaccio and Oysters, delivered clean flavors, while the Beef Carpaccio added a richer and more satisfying touch. I also enjoyed the four-item appetizer platter, which provided an excellent introduction to the restaurant’s diverse selection. Meanwhile, the Jamón Serrano and Bagna Cauda paired especially well with wine and created a relaxed dining experience.

The pasta and rice dishes were equally impressive. The Aglio Olio with boiled whitebait and tender broccoli offered a light yet flavorful option, whereas the Arrabbiata with Asakusa bacon and Palermo chili delivered a pleasant kick. The Carbonara with seared pork belly and crispy burdock was rich and memorable, and the Bolognese pasta provided classic comfort. In addition, the Truffle Cream Risotto brought a luxurious aroma that complemented the menu perfectly. For heartier choices, the Black Shoulder Steak and thick shiitake mushrooms were excellent highlights.

To finish, the homemade Basque cheesecake was smooth, creamy, and highly satisfying. Together with menu favorites such as the quiche and carefully prepared seasonal dishes, it completed a well-rounded dining experience. Overall, Wine Bar Hachijuro’s menu combines quality ingredients, balanced flavors, and wine-friendly selections that leave a lasting impression.
